Tackle & Bait Shop

Our shop is open to all anglers whether fishing our lakes, or visiting other waters. We specialise in carp and coarse fishing tackle and bait, but can also get many other products from our numerous suppliers. We are always happy to provide quotes for larger special order items and we can be very competitive against the larger online retailers. Delivery can be arranged on special orders – just  ask for details.

For the Carp angler we have a comprehensive range from Korda and Fox in addition to stocking tackle from ESP, Trakker, Solar, Avid and Wychwood as well as a growing range of Catfish Pro products. We always carry a selection of rods, reels, nets and unhooking mats suitable for our lakes. As well as this we stock a range of rod pods, chairs, bedchairs and barrows, and are rapidly developing into Devon and Cornwalls go to shop for bivvies. We also have a comprehensive range of batteries, some power packs and spare gas bottles for the long stay anglers.

For the match and coarse angler we have Guru, Drennan, Shimano, Korum, Preston, Leeda, Dinsmore, Map and Kamasan tackle. We can always put together starter kits of cheaper rods, reels and landing nets needed to fish our lakes or even have a go in the nearby River Tavy.

In 2023 we had an exclusive range of ML boilies made for us by MIrage Baits which have dominated the carp and catfish catches here, and are gaining in popularity on numerous other waters both here and abroad. This range has grown to include hookbaits, liquids, particles and pellets. We also now stock a range of the Mirage Baits boilies including Esterblend B, Smell and the new Lion freezer baits. 

In addition we stock a range of groundbaits, boilies, pellets and hookbaits from leading brands such as  Dynamite Baits, Mainline, Sticky Baits and local company Max Attract Baits.

Fresh maggot is available daily, and worm, caster and other various dead baits are available to order weekly.

The shop is open daily from 9am. Our closing time varies according to the time of year so its always worth a call to check before you are make a special journey out here.
