 This is our original lake opened in 1990 and is the first you will see as you arrive.

Well stocked with common, mirror and ghost carp from 3lbs to 20lbs+ as well as plenty of doubles this lake can offer a very busy days fishing.  The lake is also renowned for its big Roach, as well as a good stock of Crucians, Bream, Rudd and Tench.

Whether you prefer carp, match or coarse fishing tactics this lake is perfect for anglers of all abilities. Favorite tactics are float fished corn, maggot, worm or meat over loose fed pellet, a method feeder with wafter or mini boilie, freelined crust or dog biscuit, or a bed of boilies with pop up over the top.

Pre booking for this lake is no longer required. You are welcome to arrive from 7am, pick a peg and start fishing. Then come to the shop at 9am to purchase your ticket. Anglers arriving after 9am should visit the shop prior to setting up please.

  • Anglers may use 2 rods.
  • Maximum hook size 6.
  • 22″ minimum landing net required and padded mat preferred (unless unhooking fish match style).
  • Under 12s must be accompanied by an adult.
