This lake is next to our car-park and is our most accessible lake with several wheelchair friendly pegs.  It is very well stocked with smaller carp and tench, as well as roach, rudd, bream and gudgeon.

The lake is virtually guaranteed to provide bites making this a great place for beginners, families or match anglers honing their skills. Tution for beginners can usually be arranged through the warmer months but must booked in advance by talking to us in the shop.

Favoured baits include maggot, sweetcorn, pellets and bread.

Pre booking for this lake is no longer required. You are welcome to arrive from 7am, pick a peg and start fishing. Then come to the shop at 9am to purchase your ticket. Anglers arriving after 9am should visit the shop prior to setting up please.

Pegs may sometimes be reserved for tution, school groups or club matches. These will be clearly marked to avoid other anglers setting up on them.

Lake Rules

  • Anglers may use 2 rods.
  • Float fishing only.
  • Maximum hook size 10.
  • 22″ minimum landing net required and padded mat preferred (unless unhooking fish match style).
  • Keepnets allowed. Fish to be retained for 6hrs maximum.
  • Under 12s must be accompanied by an adult.
